White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki snapped at a reporter on Monday when she was asked about President Joe Biden's sinking poll numbers during a press briefing.

"On the polling, the president's polling continues to collapse," Emerald Robinson asked at the end of the briefing.

"Emerald I know you like to shout at the end," Psaki said, "next time we'll do it during the briefing."

This after a new poll was released, finding that 54 percent of Americans beleive that the country is less united now than before. The poll, released September 19, showed a gradual decline in public support for the Biden administration.

Americans cite his "Incompetence/Poor leadership" as the reason for their lack of confidence in his administration. Additionally, the poor results in the withdrawal of US military forces from Afghanistan have played a role in American's displeasure with Biden's leadership. Others simply said the president is "doing a bad job."

The economy and the administration's vaccine mandates, and their Covid response, were among other reasons. Some Americans also cited Biden's failures at the US-Mexico border for their feeling that the president is failing to lead the American people and the nation in a positive direction.
