Reporters are the first line of fact-checkers, who are responsible for checking their stories before submission.

Editors then double check every source and verify a story’s accuracy prior to publication. Each submission goes through a round of fact checks and corrections from a News Editor and then goes on to a Senior Editor for review before publication.

Plagiarism is not tolerated and is a fireable offense.

The Post Millennial is dedicated to preventing the spread of misinformation. On the rare occasion that an inaccuracy or misleading statement gets past our editorial process, we are quick to issue corrections at the top of the stories along with an editorial note specifying the date.

Due to the rigor of our process, retractions and corrections are rare.
